Red wine Marqués de Murrieta Reserva, Rioja
What products can we be matched?
This wine combines perfectly with different fish: hake fillet steamed-grille, shrimp with aroma of truffle, desalted cod in the oven with onion and green peppers; and with different dishes: stew of red beans with a little hand of pork and cabbage, filet of veal, green asparagus and fried mashed carrots; creamy rice carnaroli with truffle, and foie gras half cooked; selection of creamy cheeses and blue, compote of red wine and morello cherries.
A wine with great presence, perfect for enjoying with large meals.
Something more about bodegas Finca Rio Negro.
The Marqués de Murrieta produced its first wine in 1852 in Logroño, using the techniques of elaboration bordeaux. It was installed in the finca Ygay at the end of the 1870s, located in the heart of the Rioja, with 300 acres of surrounding vineyards.
In 1983 the family Cebrián-Sagarriaga picks up the baton and carried out a laborious work of restoration in 2007, ending in 2014, and reopening the doors of the winery, enjoying since then a few amazing guided tours.
