Cabrales Cheese Wedge PDO 310 grs approx.
What do we find in this product?
Cabrales cheese is undoubtedly the most popular of the 40 cheeses that make up the largest cheese stain in Europe, which is Asturian.
Its popularity has crossed the borders of the Principality many years ago and has made a place for itself in the tables and kitchens of homes and restaurants throughout Spain.
Cabrales cheese is an intense, spicy and characterful cheese that accentuates its qualities as the ripening process progresses. Cabrales cheese is widely used in cooking to make sauces; to accompany a meat, for example; but it is also ideal to drink alone, as part of an Asturian cheese board; or melted with other cheeses in some dishes such as pizzas or cachopos. The authentic Cabrales PDO cheese is recognizable by its blue-green veins of penicillium distributed throughout the whole of it; as well as the role of the same colos that surrounds the pieces protected by the Protected Designation of Origin.
