Natural cockles from the Galician Rías 40/50 pieces, 120 grs ,, Peperetes
What do we find in this product?
Also known as greenfinch, it is a bivalve mollusk that lives in salty waters. It belongs to the Cardiidae family. Very present on the coasts of the Atlantic, from Norway and the Baltic Sea to the west coast of Africa. It is also found in the Mediterranean Sea.
With hardly any fats or carbohydrates, cockles are a food rich in proteins of high biological value and in omega-3 fatty acids. Thus, they are ideal for athletes by promoting the development of muscles and their subsequent recovery.
We desalinate the cockles by drinking in sea water in our own plant. We treat them with the delicacy they deserve, selecting them by size and manually packaging them for an impeccable presentation.
Committed to sustainability and artisanal fishing, our cockles bear the seal "Pesca de Rías, de onde se non?" that guarantees the origin, quality, freshness and capture with sustainable arts in Galicia .
