Description

Extra Virgin Olive Oil Casas de Hualdo, 500ml

What do we find in this Casas de Hualdo extra virgin olive oil?

Extra virgin olive oil made with the Catalan Arbequina olive variety. This type of olive gives it a medium intensity with a predominance of fruit notes over bitter and spicy.

Although traditionally this oil has been used on toast for breakfast, this oil pairs perfectly with salads, seafood, poultry and fatty fish as well as with grilled vegetables.

Main features

  • Variety: Arbequina
  • Origin: Toledo
  • Tasting: Reminiscences of tomato leaf, freshly cut grass, artichoke, apple and banana. When you taste it, you can appreciate its structure and unctuousness, which make it truly interesting.

Houses of Hualdo

In 1986, Francisco Riberas acquired the La Ventilla estate, in El Carpio de Tajo (Toledo), to begin his career in the agricultural business.

Almost ten years later, in 1996, he undertook an ambitious transformation of the estate, planting up to 300,000 olive trees. The favorable conditions of the area, and the careful dedication applied in its care, make the crop behave generously, giving us a delicate olive of unbeatable quality.

Only from a deep respect and knowledge of the environment, combining the peaceful enjoyment of the countryside with the most modern agricultural management techniques, have the most precious attributes of this millennial fruit been able to express themselves in all their excellence.

This oil aims to be a simple tribute from his family and all those who had the privilege of working with him, to the unrepeatable person of Francisco Riberas, who never saw the culmination of that project.

What are the best ways to preserve the quality of my Arbequina EVOO 500ml from Casas de Hualdo after opening? +

To maintain the premium quality of your **Casas de Hualdo Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil**, it’s essential to store it properly. Keep the bottle in a cool, dark place, away from direct sunlight and heat sources. Ideally, the oil should be kept in a pantry or cupboard. Ensure the cap is tightly sealed to minimize exposure to air, which can cause oxidation and spoilage. If you notice any off flavors or smells, it may be time to replace it.

Should I refrigerate my Arbequina EVOO after opening, or is it better to store it at room temperature? +

Refrigeration is not recommended for **Casas de Hualdo's Arbequina EVOO** as it can cause the oil to become cloudy and solidify, which may alter its flavor profile. Instead, store it at room temperature in a dark, cool place to preserve its fruity notes and balanced flavor. If you do refrigerate it by accident, simply let it come to room temperature before using.

What is the typical shelf life of the Arbequina EVOO 500ml from Casas de Hualdo, and how can I tell if it has expired? +

The **Casas de Hualdo Arbequina Extra Virgin Olive Oil** has a shelf life of approximately 18 months from the bottling date when stored properly. To check if your oil is still fresh, look for any off smells, flavors, or excessive cloudiness. A quality oil should have a vibrant aroma and a smooth, fruity taste. If you notice any rancid or bitter notes, it's best to discard it.

How should I serve the Arbequina EVOO for the best flavor experience during meals or gatherings? +

For the best tasting experience with **Casas de Hualdo's Arbequina EVOO**, serve it at room temperature. Drizzle it over salads, grilled vegetables, or seafood to enhance their flavors. For a gourmet touch, pair it with crusty artisanal bread for dipping, or use it as a finishing oil for dishes like roasted chicken or fish.
